AVerMedia Expands Support to RealSense's New GMSL Cameras and Launches NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor Edition of the SenseEdge Development Kit
New edition pairs Thor-class compute with RealSense GMSL cameras for robotics, AMRs, drones, and humanoids
Taipei, Taiwan – April 17, 2026 – AVerMedia Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of application-ready physical AI turnkey solutions, today announced expanded GMSL camera compatibility across its SenseEdge Development Kit and the introduction of a new product line: SenseEdge Development Kit — GMSL Series (NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor Edition).
The announcement coincides with RealSense's unveiling of three new GMSL camera models (D430, D415, and D401) at Hannover Messe. AVerMedia's SenseEdge platform now supports RealSense™ D457, as well as the newly announced D430, D415, and D401 GMSL cameras, across both existing and new editions.
The compatibility update covers:
Support for all RealSense GMSL cameras (D457, D430, D415, D401) for the current AGX Orin edition of the SenseEdge Development Kit.
Support for all RealSense GMSL cameras (D457, D430, D415, D401) for the new NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor edition. This edition pairs AVerMedia's D331 carrier board with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor modules to deliver a high-throughput platform for robotics, AMRs, drones, and humanoid systems. This edition will be available from Q3 2026.
All RealSense GMSL cameras (D467, D430, D415, and D401) are supported on the AVerMedia SenseEdge Development Kit (AGX Orin and NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor edition).

The NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor edition of the SenseEdge Development Kit is targeted at robotics teams, integrators, and OEMs that require sustained, high-throughput on-device compute for real-time 3D perception and multimodal inference. Typical applications include autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), commercial and inspection drones, humanoid robots, and other robotic platforms that demand low-latency perception, precise synchronization across multiple depth sensors, and validated system behavior in field conditions.
Availability
The AGX Orin edition of the SenseEdge Development Kit is already available for sale. The new NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor edition will be available from Q3 2026.
